I consider myself a storyteller, and weddings are a cacophony of stories all running headfirst into each other and intersecting in such a unique way. I aim to simply capture it all as it unfolds, and offer direction only when needed.

I am deeply aware of how much each person present at your wedding means to you, and how much effort it's taken, both in your relationship and in your planning process, to get to this point. The memories and stories captured at a wedding are, really and truly, priceless.

From a technical perspective, wedding days are a beautiful artistic challenge, posing ever-changing lighting situations, emotional factors, logistics of timelines and vendors, and all of your guests - and through it all, right in the eye of the storm, is you. You are the art, and it's your story I aim to capture.

A lot of photographers consider themselves your hype-person, and while I think that's wonderful, that's not my role. My strength is being calm in the chaos, someone who can take deep breaths with you when things get overwhelming (and, like, also hit the dance floor with you once all the pressure is gone). My mission is to capture what it feels like, and to walk with you through your planning process to take all the pressure off of the intimidating parts of wedding planning, leaving you with memories you were actually present to experience.
